Moths! I mean, what about moths? They’re like butterflies, except not. Butterflies are colorful and lively and loving, but moths are pale with antennæ and fur and they kill themselves on fire and it looks like they’re made out of pieces of velvet and silk — silk actually comes from moths! There are moths mimicking wasps, white jaguar moths, ice-cream–coloured moths, poison & poison resistant moths, moths that scream and have skull designs. And other than your standard nocturnal moth, there are also crepuscular moths! Isn’t it AMAZING? Imagine how it feels like to be an animal especially optimized for late afternoons! When I was a kid I had a little book “Butterflies & Moths” and I’m like totally partial to moths! Moths, w00t!
