Things they asked me in the US visa interview

I’m totally not making this shit up.

— So you work at Google, eh? Where is the Google office in Brazil?
— There’s one in São Paulo and one in Belo Horizonte.
— What platform do you use at Google?
— We use Linux.
— Who created Linux?
— Er, a Finnish guy called Linus.
— Ok, you passed.

  4. Yves: yes. the only other question was “where did you work before”, but he didn’t ask for any kind of confirmation.

  5. Heheheh… mine was last week. They only asked 2 questions:

    • Do you speak English?
    • Yeah, I speak, sort of… (the interviewer starts to laugh…)

    • I see that you traveled to Finland, what do you thought about it?

    • Hum, its clean, organized, and cold. But finish people are really polite.

The interviewer laughs again and says to me that its a shame that Brazilian airline companies don’t have more options to fly to Europe (all is centered in Sao Paulo).

    • OK, you passed.
    • Huh, very nice!
